"how to" imperial binders.

Post by TK171 »

get a PVC cupler at a pluming place, home depot or whatever.
whatever size you think will fit your wrist. probably a 2 1/2 inch or so would work.
cut it in half down the seam.
cut those in half to create the opening.
(I cut one straight, and the other side in a "U" shape. So if you drill a
hole thru the 2 parts, you can stick in a pin, and make it hinged. But you
can also just cut that square as well, and buy some mini hinges and just do
it that way.

I have cabinet door magnets I used to keep them shut. also available at home depot.
Make sure when buying
them, you test them out so that they will work with each other.
I had to get 2 different brands to work together.

I added foam to the inside so they don't hurt, and with the left over foam,
I cut out the rectangle blocks and added them to the outside for look. Its
just cheap self sticking foam pieces. then I just painted em up. on layer of primer( grey) and 1-2 coats of gold.

LMK if you have questions, its pretty easy to do. and they don't have to
look the best. They work well regardless.

Joe PS. I have pics of mine if need a ref.
email me for them
joe.selle@mortgage.wellsfargo.com
JoeTK171Commander
Central Garrison 501st
<img src=http://www.minnesotaforce.org/501st_ima ... rlarge.gif border="0">

Cool! Thanks!
By the self-sticking foam, you mean like the sticky back window insullation?

No, actually there is a type of foam that if you just put it next to something, it just sticks by itself. Keep it away from your pants!

TK604
Midwest Garrison
www.tk604.com
Stormtrooper Legion
