Hello,
I've been a member of the 501rsdt in the past and would like to re-enlist. I started a long time ago in 2004 in Ohio when I was still in grad school, then moved to S America, then moved to Champaign IL in 2006. I tried to rejoin when I moved back but underestimated time commitments jobs/kids require. I most recently participated in the Bartlett 2019 parade but COVID hit not long after and I had to change jobs. Anyway, Im here now.
I have a set of TK armor but it needs repair and honestly my body is not in the best shape for it (my knees are not great; anyone have experience with using a leg brace with armor?). So I might be in the market for a scout trooper or tie fighter pilot armor. Anyone who can help in that department, let me know. I always wanted to get some Phase II clone armor as well as fix up my old armor.
Anyway, Im hoping I can troop in some events. I have moved into elementary education so Im busy 9 months of the year but have more freedom in the summer now. Looking forward to reconnecting. Thanks.
James

Re: Reenlisting for 3rd(?) time
Welcome back! There are several members in the Champaign area that can likely help you out repairing your old armor.
I think a Scout would be a great option for an upgrade and to be able to hide knee braces. With this in mind necessary medical devices cannot disqualify you from membership.
If you do go Scout I can likely assist with knowledge and build assistance.

Hi James, reach out to Chip as he is now the Squad leader for The 332nd Blurrg Squad! And also be sure to contact the GML's for any questions regarding Scout armor as there has been changes in recent years with the CRL's.TK7537 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 29, 2025 9:52 amHello,
