The room got REAL quiet as kids froze with spoons of ice cream midway to their mouths.... and then the room got real NOT quiet! The kids freaked out. Big time. Since it was small and quiet there, we actually did sort of a Q&A. They asked about how we got paid (Imperial Credits of course), what it was like working for Vader (I wouldn't say a bad word), and which button on my chest box called my mother to come pick me up (one of them had seen the Triumph video recently).
Then after about 30 minutes in costume, we went buckets off. Aiden shared some ice cream and cupcakes with the kids, and we did another Q&A about the 501st this time. They were really curious about how the gear was made, and the work we do. Afterwards, they went off to do some Star Wars themed science experiments.
A quick trip, but a fun one.
