The parents put in a last minute request for some trooper support for their son Micheal's 5th Birthday party. They had heard about and saw the Garrison at the Autism speaks event as they have a nephew with Autism.I made contact with the parents and made a slight detour by their house on my way to Legoland. They were very excited I could make it. I arrived before the guests arrived and suited up in a back room. once most of the guests arrived, the Dad started playing the Star Wars theme and opened the doors for me to march out. There were a lot of oohs and ahhs, some children thought i was cool, others cowered in fear behind parents...including the birthday boy

Once everything was said and done, i did get all the kids to at least give me high fives and fist bumps.

I handed out my trading card to the children, took some photos, and made my exit. I just received an email from the mom saying how happy they were, and even though Micheal was a little timid, he has talked non-stop about the stormtrooper at his party.
