Why so serious?
I hit hte local JCP outlet store and picked up a few things..... Was goign to hit a thrift store, but we were already at JCP, so we figured we'd look while we were there.
it's not great by any stretch of the imagination, but it'll be recognizable as joker from a distance.
craptacular photshop job. If someone could do a better job, I'll provide the blank pic:
the one thing I'm debating over is.... which tie?
I plan on having a vest simalr to the TDK suit, so you'll have to imagine it...
we have it set so we'll pick one tie and return the other two for the credit back on the card :lol
and yes, I know my joker face doesn't seem right..... I can't get into character until the makeup hits my face....
So... for a budget and a starting point, how'd I do?

Okay... here I am before the makeup... it's actually after, but I didn't take a "bfore" shot, so...
and here I am after I put it on:
Not one word about the wig being a mullet. It's all I could find that resembled the movie hair.... the store doesn't have the Rubies wigs in yet.... I did pick up the gloves, though.
Tomorrow eitehr pre- or post-parade, I shoudl have pics of it all together....

the reason you're not seeing the pics is that I didn't like the way they came out and some guy decided to use oen as his avatar, so I moved them in my photobucket... too many "joe dirt" jokes about the wig being a mullet...
here's the revamp that TK-1055 helped me out on:
Here I am about 10 minutes after makeup application at 1:00... the black running was intentional
and here I am around 8:00 after wearing the same set of makeup and everything for 7 hours
and then a couple of good ones from the parade showing both of us (for the most part)

Kevin, what's wrong with the vest I have?
Jodo, that means a lot coming from you, man. You're one of the best Heath jokers I've seen.
And to top it off, this thing is wool Need to do some minor alterations to the buttons to make it look more accurate, but other than that, it's perfect for my needs

Thanks a ton! *honored*
Here latly I've seen a couple people find some realy nice looking coats, either in shape or color, but yours is preety dang awsome! And being wool, thats hands down the best! What do the straps on the arms go to? Is there anyway to remove them safly and not damage the area where they're sewn to? (By scissors or other meens? )

I'm pretty sure they could be removed, but I don't want to bother with it other than redoing hte buttons. Remember my Bronze Armory mishap?Jodo wrote: What do the straps on the arms go to? I just meant to keep an eye out for a real wool one . Darker green with collars . It;s ALL about constant upgrading now isn't it !Kevin, what's wrong with the vest I have?
But your Joker is is still getting pretty dang good Tim . Keep up the great work ! We gotta do some Parades this year You know !
Also.........................

I'll agree 100 % with this as well . I've seen a lot of people's Joker pics on the web dude.................But you just have that "Natural " Heath Ledger look ! Awesome !
LOL, thanks! Here latly I've been sorta, I don't know, doubting that I should of done it, but I'm getting back into the mood of wanting to do more now, LOL.
About the vest, I know one person over at SHH bought a green (or mabey it was white and they dyed it) blazer, then just cut the sleeves off, and sorta sized up the bottom to look more like a vest. So if you want lapels for one, you could always go the route.
