Amidst reports from the Coles County Relay for Life of a solar flare having heated much of the region, the 501st Legion deployed troops to escort relay participants through the high heat and humidity. It was a long trip through hyperspace, but well worth it to assure denizens of this outer rim territory that the Empire is with them. The mission appeared to be successful as many denizens were overheard stating that it was the coolest thing they'd ever seen! Our troops celebrated the victory with a grand feast of local cuisine before the long trip back to base.
Many thanks to the troopers(as well as our support crew) willing to make the journey and brave the furnace with me. I can't express how much I appreciate the efforts.
