Thanks again for everyone who showed up. It really was a lot of fun. If this is something you think we might try again sound off. If you think this location was good or should the hunt be on for another..
This was just a fun relaxing troop. It was great to see so many tuskens in one location.
To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world

I'd say for that we need a creative director for the shoot. i would treat it just like every modeling shoot I've been on. The photog or a director needs to tell people how to pose, have specific ideas in mind.. Composition is key, don't want anyone being lost in the shuffle

Agreed. In the shot that went across the ridges, I was in the second row or so, and saw a couple DZ's lounging up front. I kept asking if we were supposed to look menacing, and the photographers were saying "Yeah!" but at the same time, the subjects closest to the camera were basking in the sun casually. We never "got" that 'menacing and ready to attack from behind the ridges' shot in my mind.
It's not our fault; we can't see behind or around us. We need the photogs to take an active role in placing us so that we have balance.
Things like one person being out of place, or a banner being held off center can spoil an otherwise great shot.

I would love to have photographers who will boss us around all of the time. If it serves the shot, I say, bring it on!

It's difficult when you have multiple subjects.. By the time you've moved from setting one person to the next, the first has moved. I'll be a shooter for the next, I just have to shoot it from a distance, no good glass under 60mm

This was a good dry run.Next year we can make it even more EPIC-ER!
Moving around on that terrain was no joke.
If at all possible,I say we have a BBQ next year,Jundland style.

I'd like to step up and help him on that one. Fair warning though, i'm very picky, especially when it comes to photoshoots
