We made our third annual trip to the Cary Autism Awareness Day on Sep 30th. Missi Brezina invites us every year to help out with the Troyan Jr. Football Autism Awareness event she does. Her son Danni is on one of the teams and has Austism. Danni is a great kid and loves Star Wars so we are always glad to help. We got dressed in the parking lot and marched down to the football field area around 11:15 am. We heard a lot a excited people once we walked around the school building and people started to see us. This year it seemed like the cheerleaders were happiest to see us. We walked down and met up with Missi and Danni to say hello. We took tons of pictures with kids and adults. We got to escort and cheerleading group and later a football team down to the field. The football announcer loved to say" We know have Star Wars characters on the field!" Once 12:30 hit it was time to go. We said our final good byes and went back to our cars to change. After we got into our "normal" clothes a few of us went to go grab a bite and talk for a little bit. Thanks to Sig Wilson (Imperial Recruit) for coming to take picture and helping us with whatever we needed. A special thank you to Scott "Seven Skulls" Goebel from the Wisconsin Garrison for driving down from Racine to help out with this event. Please post photo's on this page.
