Psst, there's an error in the html coding. Take your browser in any thread and make it skinny left to right (windows 7 has that cool feature with the auto split screen). When it's skinny, the AVs don't resize, they just break frame and cover the poster's post.
It's not a big deal, I don't mind making the window "fatter", but I figured it should be pointed out while you guys are still poking around.

Yep. Do it-make your screen narrow left to right. The avs don't resize, they just break frame and cover the text.
*everything in the profile box breaks frame unless it's small enough-it does the word wrap, as it one word per line, but the rank bars break frame, as do longer words until everything in the post/text box just kind of vanishes.

Awwwww cr#$! I see what you mean. Now how did you stumble upon that. LOL It's as if the user info area is like an overlay and ends up covering the text of the subject. I'll show this to Rome, see if he's seen the same in his. I'd hate if the only solution was to turn avatars off. Noticed too that the sig bar left and right size vanish, aka doesn't resize itself.

I told you already-I use the split screen with win7. It was River's "wider" av that made me notice I couldn't read half his post because the av was in the way.

I know you did...It was a joke for I couldn't figure out how you created it. I don't have Win7. Maybe with my tax refund I'll get a new PC to replace my tower that BestBuy never fixed. None of my current PC's (2 of them work and work laptop)have it since all my work applications use WINXP. However, sure enough when I shrunk both sides I saw it.
And finally... look at the main page, we have events!!! And the calendar has the upcoming events. Had to find the right database to import the data to.

I noticed something on how the calendar treats private events, like the jump zone event. It doesn't show up on the upcoming events and wont link to the event post on the calendar. Thinking Change the event public and make the description say private event. That way our members will still have to login to register for the event. And the public wont be able to, unless its in the public area.

GGG and I believe GLG have the open gallery. Members can upload their own photos, which was a lot of why we did this to begin with. The busted gallery.
I don't know if Chip retains the images once he's completed work on them. I know Damian did not, but he did literally hundreds of members over the years (not even just for our unit, but around the world).
Some will need completely new sets of pictures made.
How are you for frames/placeholders for the images? The "old" ones might not end up looking right. I'd suggest tapping Tampa or Chip-I know Tampa did a really good job on the ones for the trading cards-essentially the same thing.
I know you're talking about getting it working at the base level, but I'm thinking ahead to the next step, and one that might end up being somewhat time consuming. Of course, you could pull the Legion frames and pictures...that might be "easier" in the beginning.

Maybe we are talking about two seperate things. I'm trying to get the membership section working next. I'm not seeing an open download section on their site, except press materials, nothing open unless its only to logged in members.
Defiantly would like an area where we can upload pictures for the public to see our events.
Right now I'm just working off the instructions that Rome sent you and myself when he was done with the upgrade and handed it over to us. Once we get one set of pictures in the database, we (I) will see how the system handles it.
'When the GWL finishes processing the member photos for upload to 501st.com, the GWL can send a copy of the Zipped archive to the Webmaster. The Webmaster then unzips the archive, renames the files as above ( listed elsewhere in the instructions), then uploads via standard FTP to the “rosterimg” folder.' I'm hoping it would look something lke GLG member area.

I've already discussed this with Rome in the past. It would be easiest for me, with the least amount of confusion, to have that conversation with him again (and w/ Mike from GGG) and have them say exactly what needs to be done. I know the ToD tracking is something members can do by themselves on GLG's forum, and will be something we all want to see instated. 2 separate things, same conversation.

I need Crix swapped out with Mary/badmommy for the ToD tracking, please.
Should Mary have time in the future to keep it current, we can bring her back to assist Crix, as previously mentioned.
I think anywhere it reads "badmommy" can be replaced with Crix. If there are any additional adds or cuts that need to be made as far as where he can moderate, let me know and we'll discuss it.

We just need to update the copyright info with the correct new verbiage from LFL:
Per instructions from Mary Franklin, in the wake of the Disney acquisition of Lucasfilm, LFL is no longer a "Ltd.", but an "LLC".

The new legal disclaimer should read:

The 501st Legion is a worldwide Star Wars costuming organization comprised of and operated by Star Wars fans. While it is not sponsored by Lucasfilm LLC, it is Lucasfilm's preferred Imperial costuming group. Star Wars, its characters, costumes, and all associated items are the intellectual property of Lucasfilm. ©<insert current year here> Lucasfilm LLC & ™ All rights reserved. Used under authorization.
