Well , right now.....it DOES sound like "fun " . But i'll let you know in a few months whether that "Fun Factor " has diminished or not !

The "Ears " , are made from a 2 piece wood base , then covered in plastic sintra. Then bolted thru to the inside of the helmet and shield.
btw..............DRILLING thru a REAL ww2 helmet was impossible . That thing was MADE to stop bullets ! I had to CUT my way thru it for any bolts !

Turned out pretty nice!!
A couple of quick question... where did you get the gloves and the pants for your costume? Are they the standard Imperial Jodhopurs?
I need to get pairs for myself!

I know I'm late to this thread, but I didn't realize that is made from a real talker's helmet.
Hard core man.
How much does it weigh?
Is this possibly the only "real helmet" Naval Trooper, in the legion?

Yeah... I though you were going to use the talker as a vacuum forming buck to form the plastic.
Very impressive, and of course, requires patience to cut through that steel!
