Greetings from the frozen UP of Michigan!

While browsing around, I figured I should probably get a message on here... I've been collecting parts for my armor to join the 501st, but there's one big problem...there's only one trooper that lives near me in the UP!

So...if you have room to include a Yooper into the WI Garrison...you've got a recruit! I'll also join up with the Great Lakes Garrison as well when my armor is complete, but you're all a lot closer to my location.

I make a lot of forays into WI, so if anyone would ever like to touch base, let me know...(in fact, I'm in Sturgeon Bay right now, Green Bay tomorrow).

Thanks for all the helpful info on the boards, and I cannot wait to start trooping...

Hi Random

While there is no Wisconsin Garrison, there is a Wisconsin Squad which is a unit of the Midwest Garrison.

We look forward to having you troop with the Midwest Garrison and the Wisconsin Squad.

When you do finish your armor you will be part of the Great Lakes garrison, But you can ask to be trasfered to the Midwest Garrison. The Great Lakes Garrison CO and Midwesy Garrison CO must both agree on the move, but that shouldnt be an issue.

I'm actually going to be in Green Bay later this afternoon/evening. But now that I look back at your note I guess I am a day too late...
I do get up into the U.P. for work and to also visit relatives (both in Marquette) so maybe we can do a little trooping up there sometime.

I'm making my decision about my armor right now, so I should be ordering it sometime next week...

Hopefully I'll be ready to go sometime in May...I can't wait to start trooping!

UPDATE:

Armor is at the house (decided on FX afterall), and I'm going to start it on Friday when I get back home...

Not as soon as I wanted, seeing I'll be delayed at least another month or two, but I should be up and running before the end of summer.

Least this has given me enough time to track down all the little things that make putting armor together a lot easier...plus I have all the extras of the costume taken care of (boots, helmet mods, belt, etc).

Hopefully, I'll be down for the Bullfrogs event on the 27th next month. Maybe even the Timber Rattlers on the 6th...still up in the air, but if you guys need an extra hand, let me know...
