Hey Everyone!

I've been checking around BSN, collecting lots of information and I’m ready to begin constructing my scout suit. My helmet is on the way and I will be have ordered my gloves and armor today.

I’m looking forward to meeting new friends while moving forward with excitement!

Milwaukee area here. Keep us posted with any questions, and you're welcome to attend events in the meantime to meet people. We could put you to work as event photographer or in another support capacity until your armor is finished

Photographer?! Gladly!

I love taking photos. Time for me to check the calendar of events here and compare it to my work schedule.

Who would I contact about being a photographer? Where would the photos be posted?

That's awesome I'm hearing from people in Sheboygan and Milwaukee. I'm in Fond du Lac myself - however my girlfriend lives in Milwaukee, so I'll be down there often.

After clicking on the "Midwest Garrison Calendar" link from the Wisquad homepage I am taken to the MIDWEST GARRISON 2008 EVENTS INDEX-04/25/08 site. I scroll down to June 2008 and try to click the event June 7, 2008 (Brookfield, WI) Brookfield Public Library Meet and Greet SATURDAY. After signing in I receive the message "The topic or post you requested does not exist".

Any ideas? Otherwise I can post in the tech support form.

well with the link provided above, our WI Squad calendar is on the very front of the page and goes by date and you don't need to be logged on to see event info,rather convenient I think.

If you are interested in other areas in the IL/MI regions events are in an index form by date by clicking the The Midwest Garrison Calendar

Im sure there are quiate a few members of the MWG willing to help you out with info and tips for your scout as well as leads for parts, and seamstreses (sp)

While you live in WI, dont forget we haev MWG members in IL, IN and MI as well! But in a larger sense.. we are ALL 501st! and you;ll find that troopers from all over the world will treat you like a brother and friend!

I was born and raised in milwaukee (east side) before moving to Greendale WI, Then finaly to IL here. Kathy also hales from WI as well

Mike 895 was from IL and lives in WI now LOL So you see the border is really fuzzy LOL We are all MWG and all a big family.

I would like to invite you to come to the Bartlett IL Independance day parade

This is our 6th year doing thisparade and we always have a great time. We end the pardae with a cook out, games and fun. We are the ONLY ones allowed to cook out on the grounds by the end of the parde. We got special permision. And there is a carnival right there as well!

This is not only w MWG event, but Midwest Base (rebels) The jedi Assebly and Fan force as well !

The reason that the post does not exist (for you) is that you do not have "Midwest Garrison Member" forum permissions.

We have several more forums here on the message board for event planning and 501st & Rebel Legion Members info, that are not viewable to the general public. Necessary information such as private phone numbers and addresses are often posted there.

We try to keep that (Publicly viewable) Midwest Garrison calendar index post as up-to-date as possible with the date / location & breif description of the events on our agenda. The entries also contain links to our event planning topics. This is both for the benefit of the public, so they have a general idea of where they might be able to see us, and for our Members so that they can find out information about specific events quickly.

I am sure that if you are interested in learning more about specific public events and volunteering to photograph, we can put you in touch with Garrison Members coordinating the events who can give you further information.
