Hello from Aurora!
My name is Becky and I'm not 501st approved yet, but I'm putting the finishing touches on a Jawa for C2E2. I'm hoping to get it 501st aprpoved once it's done. I've already been in touch with Krayt Clan and figured I'd pop in here, too, to introduce myself. Hi!

Hi Becky, welcome aboard. Make sure to reach out to our GML, Mike Dickinson, to get approved. The Garrison approves your costumes for membership in the Legion. I am sure Mike will be posting here soon.
Make sure to stop by our space at C2E2 so we can meet! I will be there all weekend, as will many of our members.
Looking forward to meeting you!
Jim

Re: Hello from Aurora!
Thank you! I'll be sure to stop by Saturday or Sunday while I'm in costume!
For the con also, my wife will be a COTF Nihilus and a good friend will be Visas Marr, and we're all excited about the possibility of becoming involved with the 501st.

Re: Hello from Aurora!
C2E2 was a success! I stopped by the 501st area a few times but with how busy it was I only got to talk a bit with Nihilus as it turns out we know her. I had a blast, though! The costume held up well (aside from my soundboard experiencing a fixable break on Saturday). It WAS about 50 degrees hotter in the mask/hood than I thought it was going to be and I was pretty much blind, but I had a fantastic time regardless.
Hopefully this week I'll get a chance to take some good turn-around photos to start the journey to approval!
