I've had the pleasure of hanging out/chatting idly with several of you guys at Wizard World Chicago and, at latest, C2E2. I've finally (after much prodding!) joined the forums here to wet my feet before I wander over to my local Ohio Garrison.
My name's Diane and I'm the short girl with brown hair who's talked a bit about being either a Jawa or a Biker Scout. I've fangirled over you all often and participated in the totally kick-butt Droid Hunt (you all got a pic of me losing my droids). I'm actually from northwest Ohio but I often find myself in Chicago hanging out with you all.
I'm hoping I can join you all as soon as possible--I'm really eager to get in on all of the fun!

well we appreciate you coming on our boards and introducing yourself, especially since you'll be assigned to the Ohio Garrison, but we're all 501st in this big family.
You are already aware of many of the troopers who have big hearts and we are all willing to help you out in your quest to become a full member of the 501.
If you ever get stumped, just post up on our boards here (or Ohio) and i'm sure many troopers will come to your aid.
