New Clone Trooper recruit reporting in.
Hi people ,New Clone Trooper recruit reporting in. My name is Rich I live in Beach park Il. I have been working on my Clone Trooper Armor for 2 years. Its a EPIII set up . Helmet is finished but no weathering ,same with the armor no finish paint as of today. It has been very difficult to work off of pix and descriptions and has been very tedious . The lack of "official diagrams" and "official finished product "pix is frustrating. I want to be perfect and "cannon" but so many opinions on type of clone trooper paint and styles is maddening.
I'll get some pix up as soon as my wife down loads them for me from her camera.
Thanks for the opportunity to serve in your garrison.

Welcome Rich. We're here to help you where we can. Do you have a certain clone design you're going for?Richiestix wrote:Hi people ,New Clone Trooper recruit reporting in. Re: New Clone Trooper recruit reporting in.
Well basically what is allowed is any paint scheme shown in ROTS. If you're unsure what you want and you want to be done before halloween, just stick with the white, there's not enough of those around anyways.Richiestix wrote:A standard Clone Trooper, for now, I'm confused as to what is allowed .iam8114 wrote:Welcome Rich. And as Sands said, take your time, if you rush you might end up needing to take more time fixing things.

Thanks I have been taking time ,2 years, getting all the hook up points is tricky for sure, so it hangs right. I have a voice amp and a fan installed in my lid.
I need to get some shoes or straps to make some ?? don't know what I can afford .
How do you put up pix on this forum??

Welcome!
We have a couple of armor parties coming up. They might be a good opportunity for you to come out and talk to troopers attending first hand.
There is one in downtown Chicago on Oct 25th, and another out in the burbs on Nov 7th. Should you be interested and able in attending either of those I'll be happy to send you the details.
