Post by Richiestix »

Got it!! I joined 2008, They are real pickie about detail but do not offer a definition of a exact model of clone. I did find some pix that helped.

I was told that they are hard to work with. Shame that troopers are like that.

A year ago they might not have had the level of detail that they do now, though. It's been an arduous process for all the detachments (except maybe the pathfinders), compiling all the info on the various costumes.
The only clone that I know of that is NOT accepted yet is Denal, and that's because he's limited on sources (toys don't count).

Yeah, TK 826, our GML, will do the approval.

Each clone color scheme is based off of a character type-well, most of them are. Denal is one of the blue n white ones, much like Capt. Rex.

EX: Thire, Clone Trooper Commander:

(also known as a shock trooper)

As I said, each color scheme has evolved into a specific character.

Man i've been outta this for some time.

What are you looking to do with the armor? I can offer some pointers. What specifically are you trying to find as far as detail and painting? I know i've helped detail or 'dirty up' Sandman's IC bucket. I think you shot me an email before?

just let me know what I can do to assist and "Welcome Aboard Trooper"!

for dirtying one can use a Tamiya weathering kit goes for about $11 at a local hobby store. I think you can also use a makeup kit but i'm not sure which one.

as for the belt, what sort of velcro are you using? It sounds like you're not using "industrial Velcro" Industrial Velcro will hold the belt like no ones business.

Let me know.

Hi River, here are some pix of my project we took last night, I noticed that my right knee pad is up side down. Still need adjustments.
