Here we go again.

So, the other day I was checking my email at the clinic and there was this email in French and ... it was from Quincy!

And I was like ... "Dude! Queen Quincy found me on Facebook!"

And then I found everybody else from the Midwest Garrison on Facebook and it was really excellent. So I joined the new non-ezboard forum (yes, it HAS been THAT long) and now I'm saying "Hi!".

I still miss the opening toast to a every new midwest garrison "tour of duty". It was my favorite moment and the one I relate to my fellow students when recounting my days of "working as a costumed character" as I explain my crazy midwest garrison/garrison titan past.

I graduate in a few weeks and then it will be "Dr. Zamweasel". :)

I'm so happy that Quincy found me because then I was able to find you guys!

To demonstrate how much veterinary school has changed me: the idea of an activity that takes tens of hours and costs hundreds of dollars without a positive medical outcome seems ridiculous to me now. But I know I can be reformed. My costumes have been stored and even worn by fellow classmates but I am so excited to wear them again.

I can't wait until I graduate because I'm so close! I'm already planning for DragonCon 2009. I can't wait to see you guys there.

I've missed you all so much!

It's disposable! And paid for. :) Unfortunately, it makes me look like a surgeon instead of Nightcrawler. What a bummer.

I'm really glad you're here, Em :D
The "without a positive medical outcome" is great! We have quite a few new stories for you  From guys falling over during troops, to those making it up until the very end to "expire".

Hopefully we'll see you before DC.

I wish I had a way to get the trailer online from the "Escape from Zircon" we did at the Museum of Science and Industry several years back. I believe Em was in a few scenes, it was a great time, she was in her nightcrawler outfit!

Thanks guys! What do you mean WAS an awesome Nightcrawler costume? It still IS!

I still have all those "Escape from Zircon" trailers. Over all of our times working that exhibit, I played every character as Nightcrawler I think. My favorite was when I got to ride the Vespa though.

I'd love to hang out before DC too! I haven't been to a convention since Archon 2004 (I took best in show at their masquerade) though so ... I totally miss that too. What's next? Duckon? Convergence?

I've still got two months to go here before I'm free.

E, I'm going to add you into a user group (it may kick you an email) so you can see the upcoming events and the WW planning. Are you still a member of the RL? If so, let me know. Different group.
Most are on the calendar, but the threads are usually more fun than the calendar ;)

I still have two good guy costumes: Rebel Pilot and my Jedi Robes so I'm still part of the Rebel Legion even if they don't know who the hell I am.

I kept my favorite non-Star Wars costumes too: Hogwarts uniform, USCM, and (of course) Nightcrawler.

I actually want to redo some of the Nightcrawler costume parts: the tail, hands, and feet. While the latex stood up well, I'm seeing so much great work in silicon these days that I think new appliances might be in order.

The (sort of) SAD NEWS though is that I have found employment in New York so I'll be moving away in a few months. We'll definitely need to hang out before I do!
