Hi there,
My name is Rick from the REDBACK SQUAD, Queensland Australia. I just thought I'd say hello to you all and have a look around the forum while I'm here.

Hello Rick!
Isn't the redback a relation to our own black widow?
Enjoy the forums!

Hey thanks for the welcome.
Yep, they're very closely related. The only way to really tell is they have a slightly different red pattern on their abdomen... that's it.

Nice to see you here. I have met a few of the Australian troopers over the years. Always great to meet a new one!
Pass along a hello to the rest of the troops.

Hope you have a good time. How long are you here? If you have time, and are near by, wouldn't mind meeting up to say HI.

LOL, I wish I was there. I was in LA for C-IV, It was a pity I didn't get to stay a bit longer, you've got a great country I would've loved to see more of it.

Thanks for the warm welcome, and btw, in Brisbane, we call shrimp "prawns"...to us a "shrimp" is someone of very small stature LOL. I'd prefer to throw a nice big juicy steak on the barbie any day

I have one in my house at the moment actually, They're very smelly things, rude, obnoxious, takes over the TV, drinks all my beer. They also go by another name you might be more familiar with "brother" LOL
