Once again, we're invited to join in the St. Pat's Day Parade through the Corktown district, along Michigan Ave.

Sunday, March 16, 2008 Application due by Feb. 11, 2008. Parade assembles at 1:00pm, begins at 2:00pm.

Interested parties, please post your firm commitment in the GLG forum by Feb. 5. If we cannot get 10 participants (official 501st/Rebel Legion only, please), we will have to cancel for this year.

Note: This event occurs on the same weekend as the inaugural Muskegon Fury hockey event, and many members have already committed to the Fury.

Who: We have four TKs.

Needed are a Vader, handler, and up to three more pairs of troopers. We have one TD looking for a partner. I’m asking all the surrounding garrisons if they have people, so it’ll be first come first serve.

They may have a small room available for us, but plan on a PARKING LOT costume change.

When: Saturday, August 9, 2008
Arrive by 9:00am
In Costume by 9:30am
Troop from 9:30am - 10:30am
Pre-Screening at 11:00am

We will have reserved seats in the theater, and will get to see the movie after the troop.

Characters: Warner Brothers has requested that we provide as many "troopers" as we can. Their preference is Clones, followed by Stormtroopers, then other helmeted movie characters (TD, TB, TI, SL, BH, etc.). They requested that all the characters be Movie Characters. That means no EU characters. Sorry. They will allow Rebel costumes and Jedi, if the available spots are not filled by helmeted 501st characters. All costumes must be 501st or Rebel Legion approved.

Available Spots: 29 Costumers + 1 Handler/Photographer = 30 People
We currently have 20 of the 29 spots filled. This will be first come, first serve for out-of-state clones. If a clone has to travel with another helmeted trooper (TK, TD, TI, TB, TS...) , we might allow for that to increase our clone numbers.

Deadline:
We have to provide the number of attendants by this Wednesday, 8/6/08.

As we still have 10 spots to fill for the above Clone Wars pre-screening, we are opening it up to other helmeted characters besides Clones (TK, TD, TI, TB, DZ, BH...) but they must be from the movies.

One more day to sign up for the Warner Brothers Clone Wars pre-screening. WB has been great to us and you won't be dissapointed for making the road trip.
