Helmet liner question...

Hey all,

While waiting for that Anovos kit, I've been doing a lot of searching on bucket electronics. But, in addition to all of that, I'm also thinking of comfort. Is anyone familiar with the Fenixprops helmet liners (http://goo.gl/YXJKXo or http://goo.gl/cvvr9t)? I'm wondering, first, if they are comfortable (which by the looks of it would be)? But I do not know if they would make things get hotter under the bucket? Also, would putting a liner like that in interfere with installation of fans and comms? I am planning on going Hovi tips, instead of a chest speaker.

Personally I got a big head and have a hard time with my tk ap to get on the new tfa that I tried are far easier then the original to put on. I just have a pad at the top of my bucket.

But no experience with the liner I linked above?

I believe my head is more on the larger side as well, so a full blown liner might not be practical for me. Seems to me most of you guys just wear a UA balaclava (or equivalent), and have a few pads in there...but was just thinking of some other options.

I would recommend a hard hat liner & not what you have linked. What you have linked in my opinion would just make things really hot in your helmet.

I have one of the Fenix Props liners for my Royal guard. They are nice but they are very warm. Since you will be installing fans and hardware, I would avoid their liner. There are some military helmet pads that you can install with velcro which will make it easy to move them if you should have to change things inside your bucket. The Hard hat liner is also great because you open up the rest of your bucket for fans and hardware-plus you can adjust the hat liner incase you get a thicker balaclava for outside early winter/ late winter trooping such as parades.
