Waiting on armor so I might as well.....

Post by DarSec »

My wait is 5-6 months on my ATA kit, so I thought I'd look into a few things to keep me sane until I start building.
1. Where is everyone getting accurate TK boots from?
2. Who has the most reasonable neck seal?
3. Any hints on E-11? or holster?
4. Sound and fans for helmet?

Any suggestions would be appreciated. I'm planning on getting to a few troop events this summer so I hope to meet some of you and get some info then. I'm in Urbana so I'll definitely get to Thomasboro in June.

I hear good things about TK Boots, I'm thinking of getting a pair to replace the boots I have now, http://www.tkboots.com/ and the price is good

it might be worth sending Gazmosis a PM, he might have a holster for an E-11. I've seen people convert E-11 toys while some use vacuum formed E-11's...

TK Boots all the way! I have one pair of his original boots that are over 15 years old and they are still in prime condition. I have three pairs total of his boots.

Thanx all!! TK boots are hard to get. Their site says availability is hit and miss.

I have TK boots, and they are great. Yes, they can be hit or miss at times, but they will be getting more, so i would get my name on the list now while youre waiting for your kit. Thats what i did, and got mine right before i finished my armor.

Basically if you see something listed here at http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/ for sale, its passed mustard with FISD, and these sellers are know to produce.

I have begun my helmet build. It's above in this forum under "TM Hero Helmet Build". Everyone feel free to browse and critique.
