Anybody want to help me build my armor? I'm having trouble

Post by squirt40 »

So I recently got an armor, but I'm having the hardest time assembling it. I live in lake county. If anybody's willing to help me please contact me.

What kind of armor?
Many bothans died to bring you this post...the tearing of ligaments and almost the loss of a TK's finger...

It's a stormtrooper. I need help with Velcro, gluing, and other stuff that goes along with it.

same here - located in Northbrook (294-Willow)

AM armor

I need to know if I should go with the overlap per the instruction or should I chop that off and try or attempt to go with a butt joint

If anyone has time this week on Tues / Wed / Thur / Fri
I would appreciate it

Beer/Baked goods for your time.

although i personally cannot come out to you to help, which pieces are you talking about for overlapping? most people on FISD recommend butt joining them with coverstrips on the top and on the inside.

Also something to keep in mind the shins for the AM kit are not universal. here is the link to the how to for the shins on FISD: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/1 ... msearch__1
