Finished my ESB DL-44 variant for my Tie Pilot

Post by Firebat »

Got all the parts in, spent 4 hours at friends house with this drill press and other tools, got everything mocked up. Then next day took it all apart. Painted the pieces. Went to work came home today and weathered everything and put it back together. Going to debut it at C2E2. lol Got tired of carried my E-11 around all day. This is somewhat lighter. Still little heavy (full metal cept for scope). I was going to put my Real m38 scope on it. But that made it too heavy. So that will go on the E-11.

Heres the pics. I'm happy with the turn out. Probably would change a couple things if I had a chance, but no biggy.

I dont know what it is about me. But I do wish it weighed about 2 lbs less. I always seem to snag a heavy gun.

Looks great. Did you make the holster too? I'm digging it :)

Beautiful work! I'm working on a DL-44 myself, and would love to get a holster like that.
