Ok, well the auction ended, but the good news is that nobody bid on the armor. I have contacted the seller to see if I can work something out.

Cool beans, Hope this gets off the ground.

Will we be also making the backpacks?

The sidearm looks A LOT like Robocops gun.

I wasn't talking about CT.N exactly. Info might have been reposted there, but it's not where I saw it.

Jaster,

The more I look at the new photo's the guy sent you the less I like the armor.....you know what kind of perfectionist I am and some of his pulls are downright pitiful. I don't think I wanna give someone money that I could do with one arm in a cast. Gimme a few days to make up some temporary mould pieces before you do anything with money. I think the thing that I find bothersome is the way he translated the pixilation or polygon graphics right into the armor. I mean it doesn't really look like that on the 3 3/4" action figure. Gimme till thursday to get a few of the pieces carved.

Okay first rough patterns of the lower leg armor are almost ready to be made into finals I still need to do some fairing with the sides so that the two halves match up all the way up and down the two edge surfaces but here ya go....comments tweaking need to be done?

It looks like thetop on the front and back needs to be flared out or the bottoms taken in.We need to remember it needs look big on any frame. We are also using the first pic in the reference pictures that Jaster posted.

okay I narrowed the shin gurards and calf...once the plaster is dry I'll sand it and post new pics.

Oh and Chip...you just need to get on the list...I suppose I would like to have everyone p.m. me soon so I can get a name mail phone etc. and I'll start compiling a list of people wanting in on this project

New photos are up the last set of three are the most recent and reflect a narrowing of the shin and lower back of calf

The one thing I'm noticing is the indent in the back of the calf. It looks like it needs to be slightly deeper an more baseball diamond shaped, with a ridge( instead of a groove) running through the middle of the indent to mid-calf.

You know I would deeply love to get in on this project but you know as well as I do that I'd never fit into that armor. So I'll just sit back and watch and learn as you guys create this remarkable project. I'd love to see it happen. Good Luck.
