UPDATE: The hot water worked, to a degree. The arches need a bit of work to bring them even, and repair the crack that formed when it originally warped.
i finished cutting out the holes in the mask and filled in the imperfections that i could see. with the first coat of primer i found 2 small cracks in the mask which did not go all the way through ans some small pin holes, fixed all them last night and just put a second coat of primer today. now to wait for it to dry and see if i spot any more problems.

well i took it to get painted by a pro for $150 last night and i should get it back today, if not tomorrow. I am still waiting for the chest armor to arrive (I have no tracking number so i do not know where it is) & the jumpsuit/capes/cod/gloves are being made as we speak.
Got the bucket back from the shop (finally) and my spare chest armor came in (it needs some work but it will only be used until the fiberglass one i ordered comes in)

yesterday while correcting the flare on the right of the mask we had a "oh crap" moment when we heard a loud snap. its hard to explain in text, but i is very fixable and should be corrected by the end of the weekend so i can take my official photos sunday at the squad meeting. as a bit of a tease to everyone hear hear is a pic we got last night after the oops:
there are only a few people in bloodfin that have seen this pics, i am doing that just to keep everyone on their toes in anticipation of me finishing the suit.
Well I finally can say I AM DONE!! I took pics this past Sunday when I was invited to the squad meeting, and I am waiting for the guy who took them to give me the cd with them on it so I can upload them to submit to the GML. I already am making a small change when it comes to the cape, hemming it up a bit.
Once I get the cd I will make sure a pic gets uploaded here for everyone to see.
