The fun part is, I believe if you to a scanning tech, you're just a helmet and goggles away from an ATST pilot too.

not 100% sure on that though.

Crix, I'm certainly not the last word on this, but I believe that the Costume Base flight suit would be acceptable. Note that the Costume Base belt buckes are definitely NOT accepted by anyone in the Legion anywhere for any detachment, no way, no how.

I'd assume that the jumpsuit itself is fine, their belts and their hats are trash.

The hats may or may not be salvageable but you can get much better, especially if Kathy has one that will fit your noggin (unlike me)

yeah if you get that you'll be fine but I believe you will have to swap out the cog patches.

The Detatchment Leader for the Gunnery Corps told me that for the IG, the Costume Base suit should work, even if I don't replace the patches (though that is always an option).

All of these things are subject to the GML's final approval, though, so make sure you get on Damian's good side. :)

I USE COSTUME BASE FOR MY TI/IG/IC
I HAVE 1 XXL I USE .
1 XXL NEEDS A REPAIR FOR MY HEAVY IG (ID LIKE TO CONVERT THEM INTO OVERALLS BUT I CAN SEW SO MUCH ? AND MAYBE DO THE LEATHER JACKET OPTION..)
AND I AQUIRED A XL FOR LIZ ... SHE HAS SOME GROWING TO DO... FROM THE MEASUREMENTS EVEN THE L WOULD BE SIZED TO LARGE IN THE MID CECTION...FOR HER.. SHE IS LEANING TWARDS SCOUT ANYWAYS.. SHE REALLY LIKES AMY AND WHINTERS SCOUTS... BUT HAS A TUSKEN FETTISH ALSO  AND LOVES JAWA BUT DOENT WANT TO BE ONE

I THINK TUSKEN WOULD BE WAY TO HOT FOR HER AT THIS AGE ..

FROM WHAT IVE SEEN ON THE OFFICERS FORUM ... THEY USE a lot OF COSTUME BASE ALSO ... AND ITS APPROVEABLE FOR ALL THE CREW POSITIONS . MY FRIEND L.G. OVER THERE IS ON THE FORUMS STAFF I CAN ASK HER ON FB TODAY ..I MAY BE MISINFORMED ILL CHECK

I'm not so sure about that, you'd probably be best to ask at the IOC to be certain.

Hmm... Maybe the Costume Base jumpsuit out-of-the-box is okay for Gunners because concievably almost all of us opt to wear the bib, which would cover up any extra pockets...?

Yes same for tie. (Armor coverage). But I know scanning crew is the grey uniform, black hat, black boots, black belt (I'm not shure but I think beltboxes maybe). And I think all the pockets to be the same ? I do know there is a different version of the scanning compad. I remember see ing when I was making mine I was going to do one (circles I thing on them ?? ) But that fell by the way side .lol

I had to do it to mine, and really if you remove them slowly it shouldnt be too bad. of course i just used dickie's coveralls and modified them. those are actually designed from the tie pilot's pattern, which isnt bad, except for the front pockets.

Yeah, No front pockets, and no exposed zipper, and upright collar is the main requirement of the scanning crew costume.

Belt boxes, are not required. but boots, hat, and belt definitely. compad is also not required, but makes the costume look a whole lot cooler, as does the belt boxes.
