Diving Skins

Post by TK787 »

I am picking up a new ALL black divers skin for my TK armor this week.

I am told from a vendor that they have the lowest prices of the year for skins ($35-40) at the Expo Center Sports Show at Wis State Fair Park (Wed-Sun)...just thought I would pass that along. (Great Lakes Diver Service and Supply)

hey thanks.

I was told that Jango Fett costume actually wears a cubbie blue under neath his gear. I guess it helps a little to make me bulkier and conffy.

I am so pissed....I went down to the Expo Center after work and see what he- had- said- he- had- in ALL black lycra skins...

NONE!! Dude!! DO you know what ALL black means!! It does not mean black with a thick blue stripe down the sides!!!!! UGHH!!!! You told me over the phone you had some around $40!!

He doesn't have a one!!! Im sorry guys for taking his word for it over the phone and wasting your time with this thread. I cant find one place around Milw that even carries one in ALL black..

Ugh, that sucks, man. I was hoping that maybe you had gotten lucky, cause in years of reading dive magazines, I've never seen anything all black; always got some other color, be it grey, blue, yellow, pink, etc....

I'm sure the Navy has some all black ones. I don't think the Seals try to make fashion statements when they go out. Where to get them though, would be the question.

Or WalMart sells a knock off version that is pretty cheap and works as well.

Do these get hot after wearing them for a while? I'm assuming it's a little thicker than underarmor...

I don't find that they get any hotter then under armour. However I have not worn under armour only the dive skin.

The dive skin is one layer lycra, sometimes two. But the less expensive is one.

This is not to be confused with a wetsuit made of neoprene that is VERY uncomfortable to wear for and length of time on land.

I have the real Under Armor gear and some of the other knockoffs. The under armor is way better at doing it job.
