A rare Saturday fundraiser. I usually am scheduled to work 7 am to 4 pm on Saturdays. For some reason, I have been getting many Saturdays off. That is okay though, as I had one of my highest totals raised as you can read in my mission report.

I arrived at the location at 7:45 am, setting up my table, putting up the Relay for Life banner, tablecloth, and Relay Table runner. Got into my armor for 9 hours of fundraising. I got to my post at 8:30 am, and stayed at my post collecting donations for my teams 2019 Relay for Life cancer walk. The walk happened in June, and was a rain shortened event. This was my 4th fundraiser held in 2019, and 6th since the books closed on August 13th, 2018 for the 2018 McLean County Relay walk.
When I got home later that evening, I unfolded, sorted, counted and banded $701.14 in donations, with another $39.06 donated by me, to cover the cost of the credit card companies charge when debiting the donations to the American Cancer Society. a total of $740.20 raised to fight cancer this day!
