10/15/17 Sun-MSABC Walk-St. Charles-60174

Post by gazmosis »

The Midwest Garrison had a huge showing on a squishy Sunday in October. It was a huge showing not only in the number of troopers that attended this event, but in the amount of money that was raised by its members. The Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk has been attended by the Midwest Garrison for 10 years and this year we were able to raise $5900.00 and came in 2nd overall out of all the teams that gathered donations. It was an emotional day for many but the real winners were those people who are survivors, who are battling or supporting someone who is battling this disease. Someday we will celebrate the day cancer is eradicated.
