Summary write up:

Thousands came out to fight hunger, have fun at the Hunger Walk. Scores of Food Depository agencies and supporters came out to enjoy summer fun with family and friends, while fighting hunger in Chicago. The 19th annual Hunger Walk was held Saturday, June 19 at Montrose Harbor. The family focused, almost three-mile event benefits the Food Depository member soup kitchens, pantries and shelters in Cook County.

The folks at the Hunger Walk were really happy that we were there this morning. I think there were about a thousand pictures taken of us. Plenty of babies cried and scared some older folks.

Phyllis raised over $140.00 to for the Greater Chicago Food Depository

After coming off the beach with our helmets off, a little kid from the marshal arts group & his mom came out there to get his picture taken with Vader, then with a couple shots with us troopers. Then his mom said "how about one with the bounty hunter?" BTW--Arturo was wearing his sandtrooper armor this morning.

Quoteable quotes:

- "No, he's the Clone Emperor, a character from the Expanded Universe. OK. He's a vampyre."

- "These are a few of my favorite things"

All in all a very good time was had by all, while helping out people in need.
