A sudden ice storm didn't dampen the enthusiasm of the members of the Midwest Garrison as they presented the Legions colors in this second year of their participation in the Pekin, Illinois Winter Wonderland Parade. The weather was the only thing cold. The residents of Pekin welcomed the paraders with cheers and surprised glances as their favorite Iconic Star Wars figures rode the float through the streets of their town. As always, the parade ended up rolling through the local park that had illuminated trees lining the drive.

It's cold in the Midwestern United States this time of year, but the spirit of the season is warm, fueled by Star Wars fans and by organizations who join them in celebrating with Star Wars style.....

"The weather was the only cold." DeJan continues, stating that the residents of Pekin, Illinois welcomed the marchers with cheers for their favorite Star Wars characters.
