Special Thanks to the 3 ....501st members that were able to travel to Kewanee For this Parade . SL3193 performed ABOVE and BEYOND all expectations . His Vader impression was Top Notch , and he interacted with the HUGE Parade crowd all along the 1 mile path . He stopped for pictures dozens of times !
Vader was backed up[supported ]By TK 9772 from iowa city iowa [of the Central Garrison] , and Sandtrooper Dave Hodo [TD5052] of the MWG [and his daughter in Jawa ] , who drove up from Springfield Illinois . These 2 troopers were MOST Impressive in their support Role of keeping Vader safe from the evil vile Rebel's . These 3.. 501st members were the hit of the Parade Lineup.
I myself portrayed Old Ben Kenobi....and we had "locals" , recruited into service dressing in the roles of "Darth Maul ".... " Darth Sidious " ........And" Princess Leia " . As luck would have it tho , Luke Skywalker got called into work and was unable to play .
