On Saturday, May 21st, 2016, The Midwest Garrison was invited to the Great Strides Walk for Cystic Fibrosis in Elk Grove. This is the second year the Garrison has made an appearance at this wonderful event.
As the Garrison crossed the parking lot and approached the staging area, the crowd of participants, families and staff started pointing and making their way down the hill and towards the Garrison. And once again the Garrison was up to the task of taking pictures and making everyone smile!
The Garrison was invited to participate by the Will B. Foundation. Will and his team raised over $100,000 dollars for this event and the event took in $325,000 overall for Cystic Fibrosis.
I personally would like to thank the troopers and their better halves who gave up some of their Saturday to put smiles on everyone's faces!
