There are a few. Why, if I may ask?Imperial1971 wrote:Are there any Midwest LOTR costumers out there??
and yes, they are both me.
"It's, uh, it's not tracing, all right? I add depth and shadow to give the image more definition. Only then does the drawing truly take shape. Next!?"

Thanks for the replies!
The reason I ask is because we have discussed the Cantina at CYPHAN (a ballroom in the hotel that will be decorated like a space bar) and realized that this leaves all the fantasy costumers out in the cold. We have decided to set up a SECOND bar and have it set up ala the "Prancing Pony" from LOTR. Our resources are stretched pretty thin withthe cosnstruction of the Cantina, so we are hoping to find enthusiastic folks that will help create the Prancing Pony.
Yes... real alcohol in both! (non-alcoholic drinks too IN6951)
If you have any buddies you can refer me to or pass this on to the apropraite groups... I would be MOST grateful!

I do LOTR. I don't really have anywhere to go with the costumes, there isn't much opportunity to wear them, but it really is my main costuming interest.
My Eowyn Coronation gown took 7 months to embroider:

Many thanks! This was actually my first costume, though I already knew how to sew when I began it. I now have an entire closet full of lovely costumes, but this is still my favorite!Remo wrote:Dana, that gown is beautiful. I took a sewing class last year but I'm still not so good at it. I do want to get better since there are so many cool costumes out there.
