Robin OYL....

Post by hopeful recruit »

My robin showed today :D **happy dance**

MartinNDFW does awesome work :D I highly recommend him :D

Cape closed

Cape open:

He sent two masks with it…
XDFX “Red Robin” mask
Image

And one of Proximo’s eyemasks
Image

I think I’ll use the XDFX, as the other shows a little too much skin around my eye. Plus I have a potential batgirl, so she can use it if I can get her Into the suit. :)

And just because he asked to try ‘em on, I’ve decided to corrupt the neighbor’s 5-year-old into Robin once I advance to Nightwing :D

And some pics of the boots, seeing as they don’t show up too well in the full-body pics:

thanks guys :)

As for the boots, the spats slide right now so I can go without them for the heroes and with them for the jedi:

a very "grayson" shot :)

I tried to copy this....

and here's mine:

with the current "death of batman" thing circulating, I figured this would be kinda fun :D
Image

I've also learned that I must never use this pose again until I lose more weight

I also did some other manips with some of my good friends that own batsuits:

"what, you lookin' at somethin'?"
Image

"ok, bring it"

I took Martin's advice on the suit and tried my underarmor top under it.... didn't work out too well. the extra layer made it a tad warm, but it kept from showing any sweat lines.

I also used eyeblack under hte mask.... despite the warm weather today, the makeup and spirit gum held surprisingly well. An outdoor shoot would be better, tho.

I thought you painted that utility belt yellow? Looks tan in those pics .
And...............Didn't you add a Robin Buckle on there once ?

p.s...........Wear the belt a bit higher and it will hide those "Love Handles " !

the belt slid down on me. I need to tighten it a bit.

I didn't dye it yet.... debating on that, as it looks fine as-is with my batsuit.
no buckle, either... I've just been too lazy on that one :p

Okay . See on that Cartoon pic you posted above Timmer . The center belt buckle is a simple round yellow disk . No other markings . That looks pretty simple and straight forward . Maybe just attach a Round candy tin there and paint it ? This way the cover would be removable . Just an idea .
