Help with Predator Costume

Post by TK7664 »

Hello all!

I'm in need of your assistance please...

I'm looking to start a predator costume. I'm not looking to drop a huge amount of cash into it, but I do want it to look decent for the money that I put into it. Here's what I need:

1. A person with good air brush skills to paint up a predator suit (upper torso, legs, arms, feet and hands) in the traditional P1 style colors. Of course I will pay a fair wage for your time and materials.

2. A person with good electronic skills. I would like the shoulder cannon to move from side to side, up and down and be illuminated, Set up targeting lights in the bio helmet and set up the soundboard to play predator sound clips. I will pay a fair wage for your time as well. I can get servos and stuff on-line and soundboards from Hyperdyne Labs. I just don't know how to wire it all together.

I plan on making the armor, plasma cannon and backback out of sintra and/or foamies. I will purchase a rubies mask and mod the heck out of it. To make the mask look decent I plan on purchasing a well made bio mask.

I'm not looking to rush this. I have plently of time. However, I would like to be ready to go by C2E2 2012, if possible.

Anyway, if you have the talents that I need I would love to speak with you.

You can e-mail me at: obejuan@att.net or post up here.

Thanks my friends!

Goodness please stay away from the rubies mask. It is not a good base at all. Mr. Fett is right check the Hunters lair, it is the end all begin all for all things Yautja (Predator) I myself have been working on one for quite some time, and that site is a valuable source of info.

"Good fire toward the south maybe we'll hit 'em."

Thanks all for the input. I'm on the Hunters lair quite frequently.

I'm looking for assistance in painting up a suit, servo/wrist blade gauntlet animatronics.

Thanks!
