Col. Wilhelm Klink (Hogan's Heroes)
I was not planning to post this here in the Midwest Garrison, but some of the other wonderful non-Star-Wars costume topics imply that this will fit right in...
Colonel Wilhelm Klink
I realize it was slightly redundant to append the topic title with "Hogan's Heroes," but in the (unlikely) event that there are other people out there working on Hogan's Heroes characters, by all means -- add them in here.

Re: Col. Wilhelm Klink (Hogan's Heroes)
We are planning on doing a Hogen Heroes Fan Club and possibly doing a parade later this summer. Would you be willing to do Klink with us? I am part of the German 353rd ID within the WWII Historical Re-enactment Society. Ido many WWII events from spring to fall and you would be quite a hit if you ever want to join us for one of those too. Drop me an e-mail. Thank. Ted

Where did you get the pattern at for these costumes or did you have to special order them?

Re: Col. Wilhelm Klink (Hogan's Heroes)
In the "world" of WWII Military Reenacting, the sources for authentic replica uniforms are legion. My specific Luftwaffe Officer uniform was made by one of the excellent sources out of China. I had to hand-modify the Col. epaulets; monocle, riding crop and peaked cap from ebay; most of the other components (medals, collar tabs, pips, etc.) I picked up piecemeal from various vendors (at the annual Military History Fest and a couple reenactments).SHortTrooper wrote:Where did you get the pattern at for these costumes or did you have to special order them?
I think I have more than responded to this request by now, as that is Ted standing in the left of the group photo of four, above.353943 wrote:Would you be willing to do Klink with us?
