Reenactor Fest Feb 5-7

Post by Imperial1971 »

Lords & Ladies!

It's a historical costuming con at the same hotel as Cyphan will be at. Consider it a preview of what we'll experience in June! It's cheap too... $15 if you buy your ticket on-line before Jan 5th.

Lots of great vendors, entertainment, and amazing costumes! Half our crap is WW2 gear so go on and load up! LOL

www.reenactorfest.com

Hopefully we'll see you there!

Sorry, but I simply cannot support or promote this con without a signature banner for my posts.

Get the final touches on your costumes, pack extra aspirin in your bag, and plot your route to Wheeling, IL because RF6 is DAYS AWAY!! The ad we ran in the Sun Times must be working because we are getting 500 more hits a day on the site than before. This means PARKING WILL BE TIGHT!! If the lot and Valet are full, they have a remote lot they will shuttle you back and forth to, free of charge. MY SUGGESTIONS:

1) Carpool if you can.

2) Bring it ALL the first time. Don't go back out again for room snacks -- your spot may not be there when you return.

3) Valet parking is $15 a night. Much cheaper than a downtown hotel, and no hassle - front door service.

The early-bird party is Thursday night in suite 1634 starting at 8:00pm. We'll have some drinks there (over 21 only) but you can absolutely add to the inventory with your own. I'll be there, turning it up to eleven.

EVERYBODY DRIVE SAFE!! SEE YOU THERE!

Considering Reenactor Fest VI is only two days away, you would think the Reenactor Fest website would update its Links page. It still has the banner from Reenactor Fest V.

What...? Rolling on WHICH bed? Were they rolling around on MY bed?

Since no one alive seems to have successfully taken any photos (or lived to tell about it) of the Emcee during Historical Jeopardy, here he is in all his glory -- Ladies and Gentlemen, Colonel Wilhelm Klink...

I'll probably come back and post some from MHF IX (2013) when I can find them...
