EDIT -

Right now, I'm thinking a "salmon" (NOT PINK! ) dress shirt, with lace around the sleeves, a vest, the 9 color hanger coming out of one vest pocket, the pink handkerchief out the vest's other side pocket, and the thread baldrick.

I'm thinking the costume would cost around, or less than $50, if I can use my old Joker shoes, and my new Joker pants that I don't have yet. The coat looks a might bit difficult to reproduce without buying it.

Here's another picture I was prompted to share because I "look so much like him!" in this picture.

I deffintly see the old woman/Madonna vibe coming out in this picture.

Check this out, my mom brought it to me and asked me to take a look at it. I think it would make a good base for the blue coat. Although it doesn't appear so in the pictures, the color matches the "kilt picture" quite close.

I'm not for sure how cuffs could be devised...But I know she said she could take the sleeves out a little bit more to make them longer for me. And I'm also thinking the sleeve things could be made into make-shift pocket flaps. To bad the buttons are set for women...But anyway...Thoughts on how to make it better? (Besides not use it? :lol) I'm going to keep looking, but to have a blue coat just in case is always a good thing!)

I found few things I'd like to get you guy's opinions on....A blazer to try to make some gloves out of (I must google search a template/directions for fingerless gloves...) and a pair of pants.

Once you go pants, you never go back. :lol Enspcialy if Chad is going to embroider them, I hate to have to do multiple pairs...So what say you guys about them?



Of corse the blazer material has that blue in it...But I could always practice with it. And the pants aren't purple enough, but then again, I like the look of the pants as seen here :

EDIT - Oh I forgot.....I made it to a JoAnn fabric today, but I was on a very serious time restraint. I only had about 25 mins to figure out what material I wanted, and to get it cut. I found about 3 bolts of fabric I liked, and then relised I only had about 5 mins left. Went to get the material cut, and there were 4 people in line with many bolts in their carts. And the old woman was taking her sweet sweet time. So I left the fabric there and decided it was for the best. My printer printed the colors out a bit wonky when I printed the ref pics I have. So I'll wait until next time when I'm better prepared and have more time

Heh, this morning a picture was found showing the Hatter ring....I figured I'd make my own for next to nothing. I was going to use a plastic water bottle cap or something. Well, on the RPF here a few months ago, a guy I know posted a link to a Clover Pin Cushion ring. Well, turns out they actualy used that ring. So I ordered myself one this morning.

Hey man, I haven't seen it in person yet, but from what I've seen, it looks fantastic on the top and bottom. Did you buy it? I'd love to see some more of it. I just wish they didn't make it into panels (or whatever you want to call them.).

Also, the place with the ring was out of stock, they called and said they couldn't find it.
