IL-Scott Air Force Base 501st Day Troop

So this is a belated mission report (kept forgetting to e-mail pics to myself). So on 501st Day, I celebrated it with an informal troop for a home school groups end of year party. The children performed a play with a space theme and as a surprise to them we busted in to the Imperial March. The TK is a co-worker of mine which I suited up in my armor and of course there is good ole Denal. We posed for photos for about 30 minutes and called it quits. Here are some of the photos.


The little girls kept trying to decorate me with stars...I gues they figured I was the fashionable one

Awesome report XO! good stuff at Scott's. hey if a trooper ever wants to come down and troop at his 'ol stomping grounds (That is old to me as Chanute was closed down awhile back) is there any place to stay?

We need to get this event locked down Wally. I've been wanting to get to Scott AFB for quite some time.

You mean for next year? Actually there should be some opportunities as we approach Halloween and definitely around Christmas time. There's a children's party that I think we could help out with.
