This was our fourth year at the Prairie Air Museum "Day at the Airport". The Museum was "REQUIRED" to sell their DC-3 when the Challenger Learning Center was sold. The upkeep of the DC-3 which was totally reconditioned and air worthy was made that way with the sweat equity of the volunteers of the P.A.M. and they were not compensated for that equity.
"The Day at the Airport" is one of their few fund raising activities. Their breakfasts bring in some funds. I'm hoping that next year we can provide them a bigger display. The Museum provided us with the golf cart which gave us the opportunity to get out on the flight line. A great deal of fine.
My thanks to Jim Noland and Diedra Culp and all of our troops who did double duty at the Autism Walk in Peoria. Outstanding dedication. That dedication shows as the folks at P.A.M. want us back.
