IL - Homer Glen - Homer Township Library - 10/14/10

The Homer Township Public Library hosted an event titled "May the Force be With You!" on 10/14/2010. The Midwest Garrison was tapped to headline. Over 60 children and their families came to the event! We posed for pictures, signed autographs and did some Star Wars trivia! The library also had a "Spin the Asteroid Wheel", a crafts section for the children to customize their autograph books, and a costume contest! The library staff was very grateful for our appearance and is already planning another event for next year!

Library troops are a lot of fun and this one was no exception.
Did they have the costume contest?The TIEs were tied up signing autographs.Business was good.
Congrats to Kim on her first troop.

I was wondering about the costume contest myself. I know they called the kids over for a walk through for it, but we were all tied up with autographs at the time.

Got this in my e-mail today:

On behalf of the staff at the Homer Township Public Library,
we would like to thank you and the group for coming out to our
Star Wars program. As it turns out, it was decided that it was one of the
best programs that the library ever had! If possible, we would love to have some of the photos that the Midwest Garrison took.

We hope that we can repeat the same venue next year!
