First of all, a HUGE thank you to Crix for coming out to do this event with me!!
It was a long, 4-hour troop for us, but we had a good time and everyone was very nice. We were there as requested by Fox Meadow Elementary School, to provide ambiance and gather attention to the reason why we were there…to help the School raise money for their school library. The School would receive 10% of every sale made while we were there. So we mingled throughout the store and took pictures with the customers, while hanging out periodically at the Star Wars section that they had set up towards the children’s section. Meanwhile the kids from the school did free face painting for customers. Again, this was to bring attention to their cause. At the end of the 4 hours, there was over $3,000 in sales that were counted towards the Book Fair, which panned out to over $300 for the Fox Meadow Elementary School Library. Job well done!
