GREAT EVENT!!! We were greeting by a ton of kids as we were exiting the backroom and into the store! It took us a little while just to make our way up to the front! And we were kept very busy until we the event was over (2 hours later). John and Sara (owners of the store) really promoted us being there by emailing all their registered customers. Well, they definitely got the message! Many kids even showed up in their Star Wars costumes to have their picture taken with us.
We spent a lot of time at the front of the store, as well as just outside the front doors. The shop was located in a huge shopping mall, making it the perfect place to flag down even more customers of all ages!
So many of the kids were really talkative, inquisitive and very knowledgeable when it came to Star Wars. They were a lot of fun. And one “big” fan even asked Vader to sign his cast.
When we arrived, the store was fully stocked and laid out with all the DK Star Wars books, etc. right in front. Let’s just say there was slim pickins’ 2 hours later! LOL!
Thanks so much to Steve and Jim for coming out for this! I had so much fun trooping with you guys!
