Sorry for posting the write up late
The weather was a little hot but we had a nice breeze so it was great day/ night for trooping and NO unexpected storm cells this year. The 2012 McLean County Relay for Life was a huge success. It is still the number one Relay in the state of Illinois, one of the top 10 in the nation, and one of the top in the world.
The Imperial walkers were a huge hit as always posing for pictures with fans of all ages. We helped keep order at the closing of the silent auction & walking laps around the track. We even made the front page of the local newspaper, the Pantagraph, for the second year in a row.
The registration fee for next year’s Relay has already been paid and the dates are June 21 and June 22nd 2013. Fundraising efforts go on all year long. Hope to see you there.
Our Team had 2 "Grand Club" members this year Barry Benecke TK523 ($1893.47) & Lisa Schneider TB4806 ($1500.00). Individual team members who raise over $1,000 for their team are recognized for their extraordinary effort.

All right, look, there's only one "Return," okay, and it ain't "of the King," it's "of the Jedi!
