IL - Normal/61761 - St. Jude Walk - Sat 11/17/12

This was a beautiful place to have a walk, newly completed downtown facelift and train station. Weather was a little chilly early but turned into perfect trooping temp to be very comfortable... once we started walking anyway . This event had a huge number of very spirited participants from all over central Illinois. Buss loads of students arrived from various local and not so local schools, some from several hours away. The highlight of the day was the reveal of the totals raised for the event....$45,000! This is almost double what was raised last year!

And I can't believe your skills at finding these photos.....I was looking all over for something from this. Great work on this feat and all your hard work keeping up with all the charity reporting and very thing else you do for the Star Wars and real life community's.

Just received an email from the event contact that we should be getting pictures, hopefully soon. She also informed me the event total has risen $1000 to $46, 000.
