Organized by WGN News producer and local funnyman Jeff Hoover, it was part of their comedic "And Now for Something Completely Hoover" series, and of all of the "celebrities," I think we were easily the most impressive!

Things were a bit rushed, as they always are during a live taping, and we had enough time for only one "rehearsal" about fifteen minutes before we went on. All things considered, I think it was kind of amazing that the performers were all able to hit their marks and there weren't any catastrophes.

Our part was very short in the number, but Jeff did save the best for last!

On air, they also put up a "Thank you" to the Midwest Garrison of the 501st Legion, and displayed our logo and website prominently. So while we did not get any charity funds for our appearance, we did walk away with some good-natured fun and some promotion for the garrison and the Legion.

I want to thank Steve and Matt for dropping everything on such short notice to suit up for this quick but fun event!
Merry Holidays, everyone!
