IL–Aurora/60504 Birthday Party for 6yr old 12/2/12

The Midwest Garrison and Rebel Legion paid a visit to Parkside Lanes bowling alley this afternoon for a young boy's 6 year-old birthday party. With thunderous applause (or it could have been the sound of bowling balls slamming against the lanes), we made our appearance to lanes 53 & 54 where we greeted the birthday party peoples! There were many oohs and ahhs with a shiny white Stromtrooper, as strapping good-looking RFT, and a menacing Darth Vader giving hi-fives and welcoming nods. We posed for several photos with the kids and parents, watched them eat pizza and cake, and bade our good-byes. We spent about an hour to an hour and a half in costume, and a donation will be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Total amount will be posted later when that comes through from the family.
