IL – Aurora – Family Reading Night 10/25/12
Having arrived at The Wheatlands Elementary School in Aurora, we were escorted to our changing room and suited up for this family reading night — aka book fair at 6:30pm. We posed for many photos, read the opening credits to Episode IV that they had running (just the first scene) in another room, mingled with the crowds, and took even more photos before calling it a night at 8pm. There were a lot of families there, lots of smiles, and lots of memories made! This hour and a half troop resulted in a $100 donation made to Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago.
Trooping members:
SL 1020 James Tampa
TK 7345 Steve "Woulf" Mammen

this was a fun little troop, and pleasantly surprised we netted a $100 donation

lovin those donation figures...

everyone is also just plain cool for doing events whether or not they raise funds...
it is amazing the amount of events that the MWG does manage to rack up...
