IL-Pekin/61554 -Marigold Festival Parade-Sat 9/8/12

Nice cool and sunny day with great crowd turnout. Great placement int the parade between a local newscaster and a radio station. The only downside of the parade was having to stay within arms reach of the car at all times. This was due to costumed haunted house entries from last year wandering into the crowd and scaring kids and adults. So just remember that your actions in armor don't only effect you they can effect anyone in costume. With this new rule I doubt I will do this parade again as we had children running up to us to get high fives , hugs, pictures, ect. This put them in danger of being hit by our or others cars. Also the look of disappointment on those faces that stayed on the sides of the route were too hard to repeat. Still a great time with the restrictions and plenty of cheers from the crowd.
